I thought the CG for Tintin was done really well! Someone not too long ago (I can't remember the site or the name of the reviewer) did a review of this movie and said that the animation wasn't good at all, but I think compared to something like Polar Express this was definitely a big step up from most 3D motion-capture animated films.
It was! There wasn’t any kind of weirdness in the characters bodies or movements that you get when you watch something like Christmas Carol. I mean, it isn’t REALLY animation, maybe the dog was entirely animated but its a real grey area. But yea, if they continue to do mo-cap I hope they can make them look as decent as this movie.
